You may have picked up on our mission to save the honeybees – what’s that all about? Why do the honeybees need saving? And why do you care so much?
All good questions, here are some things you may not know about our honeybee population…and our mission to save them.
Neonicotinoids are Killing our Honeybees:
Neonicotinoids is the most common insecticide used in the world. It is great at a few things:
- Killing common plant and flower pests.
- Killing the honeybees.
- Putting toxins in our food and water.
Does that sound like a mission worth fighting for? Essentially the honeybees are used to pollinate plants, however, when they come in contact with the extremely powerful poison they not only transfer it to the other plants, but they also die.
